*WEIRD* JBL stereo problem - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I've had my 2010 Sport since April. In the last week I've noticed a *wierd* issue with the stereo.

I have the stereo in FM mode and I hit the #1 preset instead of changing the channel it ejects the CD.

The display was a bunch of triangles pointing up for a while and then blank. The stereo was still playing the channel that was on when I turned on the vehicle. It only seems to happen first thing in the morning. After a couple minutes the stereo acts as it should.

Have any of you experienced anything like this?

We been seeing radios do some wierd things lately... garbled display etc
Is is still in warranty? The dealer will order you an exchange if it is

Thanks for the info. It happened again yesterday morning. It seems like it just needs a minute to warm up and then it's fine.

I still have a couple things the dealer needs to address, so this will get added to the list.
