Overhead Console LED...

Okay, I have a couple of questions. The recessed overhead LED (console light) sits inside a rectangular recess. Does anyone know if that rectangular piece can be purchased separately? And if so, can someone with the tan interior in their HL tell me what their trim code is on their door placard? It's in the lower left corner and will say "C/TR" and be followed by a 4-digit paint code with a slash then a 4-digit trim code (my tan trim code on the Tacoma is FH42).

Why do I ask? Well, the cupholders in the Tacoma are very dark at night (just cannot be seen because of the orange lighting toyota used in the Taco making it completely dark inside the cab). We have a "Cupholder LED Mod" that we can do and I have the LEDs to do it, I just never got around to it. But my wife and I love how the overhead LED lights up the console/cupholders in the HL, and I began wondering if it would be an easier mod to do in the Taco. If it is a separate piece, then I can just cut a hole in my overhead console, wire it up, and voila! Turns out no one on the Tacoma forums has done this yet, but the interest is starting already because many have it in their other vehicles too (HL, Honda Pilot, etc).

I don't have your answer as I have the black leather interior but I like your style/taste in mods. Sounds just like me.

Search for my LED thread to add some extra lights where the rear reflectors are.

Moose, I would have sworn we had a past thread that discussed removing that LED and replacing it with different color LEDs. There may have been some discussion about where to purchase, but I just don't remember. I'll see if I can find it later today.

Hmm, different trim codes for the tan between models. I guess I'll have to go by the dealership with my Taco and compare in person to see if it's close enough. I'm thinking it would be anyway.
