Folks - I bought an OEM Hood Deflector from the dealer but didn't get any instructions with the product, just the saran-wrapped deflector and a parts bag. The part # is PU50048081 and this will be going on a '10 Highlander Sport.
Via Google, I found install instructions for an '08 Highlander hood protector (Part #PT427-48080) and have noticed some differences:
1. In the '08 instructions, there are 8 tabs on the deflector. For the '10, there are only 4 tabs.
2. In the '08 instructions, there are 8 brackets. In the '10 parts bag, there are only 2 brackets.
Does anyone have the inside pictures of an '09 or greater OEM hood protector install? I think the 4 inner tabs will hook up to existing holes in the hood (under the weather-stripping) and the two brackets are for the two outer locations on the protector?
Any feedback or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
[Update]
Removed four nylon inserts / fasteners from under the leading edge of the hood and replaced with 4 nylon inserts from the kit. The protector slides in between the hood and the weather stripping and is secured by 4 machine screws and washers.
Also installed the two metal brackets on the outer-most edges of the hood using two round nylon fasteners. The only issue is to affix the protector to these two brackets. The two remaining round nylon fasteners are two weak to hold the protector to the bracket. Will try and get some nuts / bolts from Home Depot to fasten them. Hope it doesn't look bad.

Thanks it was pretty straight-forward even though no instructions were included. My only issue was with the bolts to secure the deflector at the far ends to the supplied brackets.
Home Depot helped solve that
On to the pictures - excuse the quality:
Leading edge of the deflector goes under the weather-stripping:
Brackets for the edge:
Home Depot bolts, cut to size with a dremel:

I was actually able to find directions for a 2011 hood protector; only problem is I'm new to this forum and I can't seem to figure out how to upload the pdf. Let me know if there is a simple way to upload and I will post them. Thanks

The easiest way is to use a free file hosting service, such as FileFactory or WebNG. Sign up, and once your files are hosted you can post pics to the forum by clicking on the share an URL icon above the reply window (5th button from the right), then paste your URL into the small window that has opened up. Click Okay, then a hot link to your pdf file will appear in your reply. If you have any questions while going through that process, don't hesitate to shoot me a private message.

I broke down and bought mine through the Toyota dealer. It ran about $120. Luckly, I had a 20% off coupon and had an additional gift card for $50. In the end it only cost me about $55. I tired weathertech, but they do not have them out yet. You may be able to find one at a truck accessorie shop for less. If you have to go through your dealer I would keep an eye out for any discounts on their website. Good Luck; hope you find one.

Thanks for the info! I checked a while back with my dealer but the protector wasn't out at the time. I will give them another call! I have installed bug flectors on a couple of vehicles and the really do help to cut down on rock chips to the hood area.
