The japanese really did not want to give us that much on new models. Cheap plastic interiors, no perks like crossbars, step bars. Remote start, you would think a two remote to know that it started. Nothing. Pay more. I guess its their way of saying, we pay tariffs, you pay for perks.

There a few things that you can change and they are all covered in the Owner's Manual. to the Toyota Nationa and the Highlander forum.
