2008 Brake Question

I purchased a 2008 Base vehicle and the brakes seem very sensitive. It only takes a touch on the peddle for the brakes to respond; I have to be careful when stopping. Is this normal, has anyone else noticed this?

Can't say for sure that your brakes are ok, but I had the same impression when I took delivery of my 2009.....brakes seemed extremely sensitive compared to my previous vehicle (a Subaru). Now, I'm used to them and don't really notice it.

If you're concerned you could always bring it to a mechanic, or before doing that, you could always test drive another HL and see how it compares to yours. If there's a noticeable difference, get it checked out then.

Cheers.

I felt the same way when I first bought my 08. I suspect there are no problems with your brakes and you'll get used to it.

We go from one extreme to another.
Rogers, your brakes are working fine. And, when they don't, post in this thread.
