Anyone make a simple lift kit for a 2011 Highlander?

My wife and I are going back and fourth between a few vehicle's and we both like the highlander a lot. The only issue that my wife keeps bringing up to me is that the Highlander looks like it sits too low. She asked me if there was a basic lift kit we could put on it. I'm thinking like maybe a 2" spacer lift or something like that just to improve the stance.

Does anyone know if anything like this is available? We have a Daystar kit on our 4runner and it's been great.

Thanks for any help.

Well you might be able to find someone that offers a kit, but why? My vehicle sits tall as it is, and I have a Sport model!

Keep in mind this car is for my wife and she's going to be getting out of a lifted 4runner. Compared to what she's driving now the highlander sits pretty low.

I do agree that it sits kind of low for an SUV, and my wife also has been wanting to find a lift for it. We bought the 08 when the new body style just came out and we have not yet found a manufacturer that sells a lift or leveling kit for the highlander. We came across a place that said to bring it in and they could fabricate one but I'm a little weary of it. I'm thinking there has to be some logical reason why one hasn't been made, or at least that's what I'm guessing. Basically all I'm saying too is if there's someone out there that knows about one, get back to us.

After digging around some more, I stumbled upon this at tundrasolutions.com under a highlander forum.

"Like the 01-07 Hl's, the 08-09 Hl's are completely Unibody frames.

It simply cannot be done as yu would a Standard FULL "body on frame" Truck.

There are no lift accessories that I'm aware of. And, merely increasing spring height will "throw-off" the intended suspension angles and settings.

On the flip side, there was initially an aftermarket "lowering spring kit" from Japan for the first gen HL's but this was short lived and never carried over to the US market... probably for the same reason stated above. But in Japan, it is popular to Slam cars and trucks. It's a big fad as yu might know.

The HL is NOT a truck. It's a Crossover.( an upsized/raised car platform)
All yu might try is taller tires/rims, but now yu are impacting other things as well.

Seems like yu should have purchased a 4-Runner, Sequoia or, a Lancruiser (Real Trucks) instead, if yu planned on lifting. Yu are not the only one who posed this question. There are other threads/posts here that have discussed this before.
Don't feel alone!

Just my spin.

Johnjacobs is right on the money...and frankly I'm suprised this wasn't mentioned before...its very obvious why there is no lift kit, this is NOT a body on frame SUV.

Its a unibody crossover, a modified Toyota Camry platform, not really that much different from a car.

what benefits do the lift get you anyway? Is this just for looks? That seems like a pretty shallow reason to lift a crossover. It would detrimentally affect handling by raising the center of gravity.

These are not designed as serious off roaders, if you want a truck you can lift get a 4Runner. (The new Ford Explorer is also a unibody based vehicle, like the Highlander, whereas the old Exploder was a body on frame truck)

Its possible

There are plenty of examples of unibody SUV lifts. In this case I'm guessing there simply isn't a market for one. You might be able to rig something up with 1/2" coil spring spacers like Daystar makes, but I wouldn't recommend it.
