After MUCH research....I finally came across 245/55/19 that Goodyear recently started producing. While they were pricey; they were still cheaper than the Bridgestones. So far I have been impressed with how quiet they are. I will post up a review after some serious miles.

I realize you are in Florida, but wonder if you've had a chance to venture intot he snowbelt with the new Goodyear Assurance tires and, if so, how'd they perform for you?

I've had the Goodyear's on for a few days now in Denver and had the chance to drive on ice and snow packed roads (no deep snow yet). They're far better that the A20's on the snow and ice.........that said, they're not Blizzak's but they are acceptable M+S all season tires. The ride's a bit firmer that the Toyo's and they are a smidge quieter according to my amateur ears. Bottom line, I'm happy so far.
this is good to hear, i have the bridgestone and i plan to replace them with the goodyears when the tread gets low enough. That fact that they grip in the rain is good to hear. my bridgestones slip very easily in rain... especially on the highway when accelerating...which is kinda disheartening and frightening at that speed.

Update: Woke up to 10+ inches of fresh fluffy stuff. The wife was out the door @ 5:00am in the HiHy to make 1st tracks in the deep pow on her way to work. The Goodyear's had no issues whatsoever!
I just recently replaced the Toyo A20's on my wife's 2009 HiHy with the Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max tires. So far so good. They seem to be as good or better than the Toyo's. The main problem with the Toyo's was their durability. We got about 29k out of ours.
Being in the Dallas area, we don't get much opportunity to test it out in snow. But this last week gave me a good opportunity to give them a test. They (and the car) seemed to do very well in the snow (and ice).
We are about to take the plunge with the Goodyear Assurance tires on our 2008 Highlander Hybrid. Be great to hear if you are still happy with them! Thanks.

With the exception of a decrease in MPG, I have nothing but good things to say about the tires. We are down about 2MPG over the last few tanks since the tire change. It may be too soon to attribute all of that to the tires, but they appear to be a bit stickier than the Toyos. FuelMax may refer to burn not savings! ; )

We've had the Goodyear Assurance tires for several weeks and tested them after a terrible snowstorm in Lake Tahoe, CA (worst in 35 years). The tires (and HH) performed flawlessly --- cannot say enough about how pleased we were with the choice. Thanks for your help!
We're only getting 23 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway, but we are overdue for a service, so I can't blame the tires quite yet. Any updates on the mileage?
I had Discount Tire install a set of GoodYears a few weeks ago. Only have a thousand miles on them but am happy so far. Have to wait for the rains to start in another two months before I can make a decent judgement. GoodYear was offering a $40 rebate on a set of 4 at the time.

We're back to normal MPG (post snow) now and still very happy with the tires!
