to Toyota Nation, and also to the Highlander forums! I think you'll be enjoying a lot of the improvements the 2nd Gen has over the 1st Gen. When you get your mods done, by all means post up a few pics....

Welcome! My 2011 HL Limited will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. I'm loving it so far. I also have the WeatherTech mats in mine, and should be throwing on my ski/snowboard rack soon (hoping to get an early start on the season!). What color and trim did you go with?

Joeyo, I puchased the Sport trim, which in Canada comes with leather, sunroof and 19inch rims (and a few other items). Just ordered my weathertec mats and looking at a yakima or thule ski rack.
Welcome and good luck with the new toy. I bought weathertech mats, they fit so nice and look so good. I learned my lesson with carpet mats, they always wear out where your heels rest on them. I only go all weather at this stage. I would even recommend you pull your new carpeted mats out and sell them. You don't want to lay all weather on top of the carpet mats.

I'd recommend you double-check the VIN to ensure they didn't stick you with a 2010 model as according to the website Toyota doesn't have a Sport model in the 2011 line-up.
Thunderchief, I see in your signature that your own a G35 coupe. As coincidence would have it I also own a G35 coupe - 2003 DG...we both have the same taste in cars
Jgayman, I definately bot a 2011 model (it has the new styling - headlights / taillights etc). I know in the U.S. Toyota stopped selling the Sport trim in 2010 (?) but it is still available in Canada.

LOL, ha, what are the chances? One is for fun and the HL is for all the practical needs like going to the store and buying something bigger than a hat box which is the only thing a G-35 Coupe can fit in the trunk.
Nice! I'm interested in getting the exact same model! It's confusing because they discontinued this model in the US, and from what I was researching, the only real missing features compared to the limited are nav, perforated leather, and push button start...is that true?
If you don't mind me asking, how low were you able to negotiate to? You can PM details if you don't wanna post this info.
Welcome to the form and congrats on the new car! Great to have another Canadian from the GTA on the form. What part of Toronto are you from? I'm in Missisauga.
I was actually pretty interested in seeing the '11 Sport, or even wondering if they made one still, so its good to see they still do. Any pics? I have yet to see a '11 Sport yet.

Thanks!
In the US it's now referred to as the "SE" trim.
