Quck seat question....

I'm real anal bout my seat settings and spent alot of time finding the perfect setting. If I unplug the seat from the bottom is there anything I could be messing up?

Yes - you may disconnect the side airbags that are built into the seat, you will disable the weight sensor in the seat that adjusts the force with which the front (steering wheel) airbag deploys, and you may disable the seat-belt detection sensor which determines if anyone is sitting in the seat and if they are fastened so the airbag deploys (if car thinks you are not fastened - the airbag may not deploy).

There may be different plugs for the safety equipment vs plugs for power to the seat motors, but you would have to check that on your own. Normally the safety plugs/wires are in bright colors and have tags saying what they are.
