Curbed wheel repair

I know the 19" wheels are not super low profile, but I hit a rather tall curb while parking today. The damage is not too bad, maybe 3 inches, but it did scuff up the aluminum. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on getting the rim fixed, and how much it should cost. I know this is hard to determine without a picture, but I've never had a rim fixed before. Is this something I should look into? It kind of bugs me since it just happened, but I might just live with it if it's pretty expensive.

I also live in the LA area if anyone can recommend a wheel repair shop.
Thanks.

I scuffed mine too about a couple of months ago. I was making a right turn and the rear right wheel went up the curb and slid down then hit the side of the rim. My wife was with me that time and she just told me " If I were the one behind the wheel right now you would probably be whining about what just happened 24/7". I just ignored her and checked the tire and rim when we got home and it did have a nasty scuff on the outer part of the rim probably about 4 inches. If I don't stare too close to the rim I can't notice it. I can't wait for my first tire rotation because that rim would become the spare. Out of sight, out of mind. Oh well, stuff happens!

I would just switch it with your full size 19" spare.

Why spend $50-$100 on a repair when it is more than likely to happen again.
