Can DVD's be viewed on the nav screen in The U.S.?

Does the Nav screen on U.S. Highlanders playback dvd's when the vehicle is stopped? If so what conditions need to be met, Emergency brake on etc.

I live in Australia and have The Australian version of the "2010 Highlander 11, Toyota Highlander, Limited".
Here it is called "MY11, Toyota Kluger, Grande".
I have the rear, roof mounted DVD player that plays the sound through wireless headphones only, not through the "Highlanders" sound system and it can only be viewed on the rear roof mounted screen. It can not be viewed on the Nav screen at any time, even when stopped with emergency brake on etc.

Is The U.S version the same?


The reason i ask is that we also have the "Nanny" issues with the Sat Nav and Bluetooth and i am considering getting a lockpick or similar and would like to know if it will be compatible with the Australian version of the highlander.
