I saw a picture once of a highlander displaying TPMS readings on the 3.5" MID on the dash.
I forgot exactly where I saw it but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get them displayed.

I'm sure I'm not the 1st person to ask this.
Thanks in advance.
What trim line do you have? I believe that these numbers are only indicated on the Hybrid models.

The Following User Says Thank You to Dman1 For This Useful Post:
If you have a compressor in the garage, let air out of one tire to see it go on.
On the base the TPMS is somewhere by the idiot lights near the speedo.

My trim level is Limited 4WD

I saw that in another thread also, I wasn't sure if it was correct or not

There must be a way to make it show without being too high or low.

When people are saying that the non-Hybrid models will display if they are too high or too low, they are referring to the TPMS warning light. It will flash (and eventually just stay on) when a tire is too high or too low, but will not indicate the actual pressure

hey guys, I've got a question about the TPMS light. I cant seem to get mine to shut off!
It came on about a week ago, but I was busy with stuff, and its been brutally cold lately, and none of the tires looked bad, or even low, so I let it slide until today since I had the day off.
In the morning I took it to a gas station, paid a buck for air, and filled it until the gauge read slightly over 30psi. Light was still on. So okay, thought maybe I needed to reset it, so I checked the owners manual, which lead me to believe it should correct it's self?
Just now I took it to another gas station, paid another dollar, and this time filled it up to around 35. I figured that maybe their gauages where off or something, so I doubled checked with a good gauge I had at home. One tire was at 35, the rest seemed to be at 32-33. So I brought all down to 30psi. LIGHTS STILL ON!
I just checked the sticky threads, and I noticed there is indeed a reset button. It seems hidden however, so is there a need to push this? Or should it be reset automatically?

Check your spare tire...its also monitored by the TPMS

I'll tell you all this, more than a TPMS display what I wish those MFers at Toyota had put into my Highlander was an outside temperature gauge.....
True-Dat!
Forced me to buy the homelink mirror just so I could get temp gauge. Had to go with the top of the line to get that feature on the mirror.
On the other hand, no more steenkin gargae door clickers to fumble. Two days ago my mirror flashed ice-ice-ice as the roads were wet, it was raining and the temp dropped to 28. You may have heard there were reported 1000 accidents in ATL that night. Nice to know the HL was watching out for me.
Never the less, how much could that have cost them to just give me the freakin' temp gauge built in at the factory?

Just wanted to let you know - we have a 2011 HH Limited edition - Canadian version and yes it does have that mini screen and I can see the exact PSI for all the 5 tires. It doesn't say which one but I can figure the spare tire easily because that tire's pressure doesn't change when the tires warm up - the others all change. It's nice scream to see especially when it gets to say -20C then I can see if the tires are too soft - general rules though (even if they need to be at 33PSI) I adjust 2 times a year - and when it is very cold I don't mind if I see 32PSI or 31 because I know as soon as the tires warm up they will get to 33-34 or 35.
I hope this helps - but I am still really mad that the TPMS on a damn expensive vehicle like this needs to reset at the garage only....... I am presently shopping for that tool that many people buy.
