Rear Wiper Blade

Easy one for you all. What size is the rear wiper blade on a 2009 HL Sport? I can't find it listed anywhere.

Might look at this link to see how to get the blade assembly off.

Rear Wiper Removal

TrailDust can comment on where he got the replacement blade.

Would expect the lack of a non Toyota blade part number is that the whole blade assembly is meant to be replaced with a Toyota assembly

They don't make any aftermarket replacement for the rear blade. You need to replace with a entire Toyota assembly. I think others have replaced only the blade after cutting it down to size.

I picked up a replacement blade at my Toyota dealer. And I mean just the blade, not the entire arm. It's not easy to replace the blade but there are some pics on this site that can help you out. I went to the dealer after checking a few auto places, but none seemed to have a blade replacement the correct size.

The part # for an '08 Highlander rear window wiper rubber insert is 85214-31010. Unless they have changed the design it might work for other Highlanders.

Thanks for the replies everybody. I just assumed it would be a standard generic replacement blade. I appreciate you all getting me on the right track.

Thank you for the link above. Always wondered how to lift the rear wiper to squeegee the rear window.

I saw one at our local Canadiantire store. It's a motomaster precise fit and it says 12A.

Thanks...I was thinking of changing mine, but wasn't sure I could find one that small. Cdn tire is 5 min away so might just head out there tomorrow.

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure it was PreciseFit Teflon Rear Wiper Blades 12A (Cdn 7.99) but you can double check it with that electronic wiper size finder gadget at Canadiantire. Ours is also a 5 min. drive from our place.

I believe I only paid ~$2.99 USD for the rear wiper rubber insert from the dealer. It's not very expensive...
