Nice pic, glad I don't have to get rock salt sprayed on my baby though it snows here now and then. Next go round this week, may be rain/snow/ice. They just don't know as we are on the borderline of the rain snow line.
I have the Blizzak DM-Z3. Bought them on 1/2-off tirerack closeout when the DM-V1's were announced as the replacement.
They are simply incredible in the winter that we're having.
BTW, since summer here is short, I run them year round. They are also great in the rain, never hydroplaning. They are just a bit noisier then normal tires, and dry pavement traction is excellent but a little squirmy. I run 36psi in the summer and 34psi in the winter. So far, they're lasting considerably longer than the OE junk traction-free Toyo A20's.
More snow scheduled for this week.

We are getting much of the same weather up here in Atlantic Canada. I am in Moncton, New Brunswick and alot of times, we seem to get hit harder than any city in our region, as some people get it in rain.
Last Friday night, we got close to a foot of snow very quickly...from about 1PM until about 7PM. We had places to go that night, and we didn't change our plans. The HL worked flawlessly on the unplowed roads...almost to the point of it being fun. Pretty much impossible to lose control with winter tires, AWD, and the traction control. I am running 17" Yokohama Geolanders on steel rims. The OEM A20s are a POS in the snow (or in the rain, or on dry pavement for that matter).

If I were you I would use those strictly in winter to increase tread life and pick up a set of 17" Highlander Limited wheels from the guy in Maryland selling them to run all season tires for the other seasons
I live in SE CT by the casinos and we've been slammed pretty good, not as bad as the middle of the state just yet, but a lot for this area. I've been happy with the performance of my Highlander, I've only had it just shy of 2 months, but the Dueler HL's are horrible. I can't wait to get new tires, can't justify it just yet since the Dueler's have a lot of tread and are fine in heavy rain. Snow traction is unbelievably bad. I came from a 98 4Runner to a 05 Tundra to this, so I'm used to incredible snow-ability, can't beat the room inside a Highlander though! I also can't justify snows, we have some blizzaks on our Accord and that they are awesome in the winter.
Thread wear is excellent. I figured out what you meant the next day after all the beer wore off. Forum--the art of typing too fast and not making sense, until you're not thinking about it and then it all makes sense.
I figure that the Blizzaks will last twice as long as the A20's. If they last 40k-50k miles, I'll be very happy. I don't buy tires ever concerned about thread wear life. I bought them for 'traction'. I can cancel out any road noise with the stereo. And, MPG wasn't a tire decision factor since its a 270hp 5000lb vehicle.
