2011 Highlander V6
I've been crawling around under my new highlander checking out the DIY service items and thought someone else might be interested. The oil filter housing comes off nicely with the TOY640 tool available on Amazon among other places. It uses a 15/16 (24mm) socket to turn it. I used the 15/16 and it works fine. The transmission drain plug, accessible without removing any of the plastic shields under the car, can be removed with a 10 mm hex. The top bolt of the transfer case can be removed with a 15/16 socket with a long extension. The drain bolt comes off with a 15/16 open wrench. Both of these are next to the transmission plug. The rear differential uses a 10mm hex for both fill and drain plugs. Sorry for repeating some of this found in other places.
