USA new 19" tire option

Not sure if this should be in a different section, but there is a new Nitto tire coming out this year for crossovers and they have a 19" option. Anyone hear anything more about these? A lot of 4Runner and Tundra guys really like Terra Grappler AT's, so maybe these will be a decent option. I'm interested in price for these too.

I'd love to see those Nittos and Toyos side by side.

Aren't they the same company? The tread patterns look very similar.

They are similar but not the same. Great to see more choices...

Toyo replaced my 19" A20s with the Versado CUV on warranty, just after I put my winters on. So, they are on my rims waiting to be tested in the spring. I don't go off road much, so priority for me is dry and wet traction, low noise, decent durability and ride, in that order. I have read good things about the Versados, but nice to have other options.

Nitto is a subsidiary of Toyo. The tires look like mirror images of each other.

I thought so, I'm anxious to see some pricing on the Nitto's.

my wife drives an 08 highlander sport with 19s. she doesnt want to go with the smaller wheel/better array of tires option.

the nitto crosstek cuv was recommened by big o in the 245/55-19 size. i have not found many reviews at all online. especially interested in snow performance because we live in Colorado.

anyone have any thoughts on this? is there another 245 55 19 tire that has good reviews?

thanks,

If you are replacing A20's, even granite stone quarry Flintstones tires are better. So, either of the above CUV would be a good upgrade.

I run snow tires year round. They still last longer than A20's. Since summer is short around here, I don't worry about using Blizzaks and plan on getting another set of Blizzaks when these wear out.

Some are using the 255/55/19. This will give you more tire options.

Hey neighbor! We put on Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires last winter and have been very happy so far. They've worked well in the snow and ice, and are quieter than the OEM tires. We haven't seen any appreciable fuel mileage increase, but I'd still highly recommend them.
