We get to test our Highlanders this week(Feb.1, 2011)
Well, I am expecting up to 15in (38.1cm) of snow by Wednesday afternoon. I got my new tires a month ago and they are doing well although I lost 3-6MPG. Sure don't wanna get stuck.
Has anyone already been hit with the Great Storm/Blizzard of 2011 yet? How is the Highlander doing?
Well I probably shouldn't be responding since
A) I live in Houston
and
B) I just got my HL two days ago
but according to the weather forecast, we're actually expecting snow here by Thursday/Friday!!!! Crazy! Don't have any experience driving in it though I'm sure it will be light. Good thing I have a 'snow' button in my HL huh?!
The storm was as bad as they said but the plows have done an excellent job. The 3 feet of snow in the driveway delayed getting out on the streets. However, when I made it out the streets were quite clear this morning so didn't get to test the car in the snow :-(

Stupid PLOWS!!!
BTW, you must be a noob. I always make it a point to take my AWD /4x4 vehicles out at the snow's deepest point before the plows come.... even if it is late at night...even if I have to put my life at risk. You'll learn... (Sarc)

That would be fun! But not with the crappy stock A20's.
changed out the crappy A20's last Tuesday, then ice storm hits Wednesday. The slip light only blinked once out of the entire drive that day. If it were the A20's, I know I'll be seeing that light on so many times. HiHy here.

Sorry, not a noob. Just no way to get the car out of the garage. Took me 3 hours to get the snow out of the driveway in the morning. There were 4 foot drifts up against the garage door. I had 3 foot drifts on one side of the driveway and 4 foot drifts on the other. By the time I was done, so were the plows.
