USA Husky liners

Hi,

New to the group. Just purchased a 2008 sport with 36k on it. Picked up the rest of a 7/100k B2B warranty.

Just ordered a set of 1st and 2nd row husky liners. Paid $102 for the pair so I thought that was a good deal.

Any regrets on husky liners by their owners?

Thanks in advance..

I have the factory rubber mats and I am disapointed with the driver side. It offers no protection under the gas peddle. Can you post or e-mail me a pick when you get them? I am now going to look for a front set of huskylineres or weathertechs. The huskyliners were the best in my 07 STI.

I have a question about the rubber mats that so many folks seem to like (I guess it's the weathertech brand). Is it 'safe' to just throw them on top of the existing carpet mat on the driver's side given all of the attention Toyota received with gas pedal interference?

Husky Liners FTW

17 year original set in '94 Xtra Cab is what convinced me to purchase a set for '08 Corolla. No issues whatsoever. Manageable & ease of maintenance.. Unfortunately none available for my Altima.

Weathertech says all carpeted mats should be removed. I removed the drivers side for safety reason. The rest of them I kept the carpet mats and just placed over with the rubber mats. I got the digitalfit mats and very happy with them.

Just ordered and received my Digifit mats from Weathertech for the front and second row. They fit perfect, a little on the pricey side, but I'm definitely glad I bought them. They fit nice and snug and it doesn't seem like there's any chance dirt and debris can get anywhere else but in those mats.

I put my husky liners right over the mats and have no issue about it,looks good and is very safe, but they also say to remove factory mats.I think everyone is scared!!!!

got my liners today - they look good - fit really well. Will have to take pictures. Streetsideauto.com- super quick shipping. I ordered them on Sunday - they were at my door today with free shipping.

The only suggestion I would have is that since there is a gas tank lever on the floor - they suggest you cut out a hole for it. I should have left it as a flap or they should incorporate a small flap in the liner so that you do not leave a hole. I may take some gorilla tape and tape the piece back in from underneath as a flap.

KCMO, the official recall letters I received from Toyota (Canada) state to remove the carpet mat if you are using the rubber mat.

The beauty of the Husky liners is careful use and application of a heat gun may assist in "bending" a particular area.

Yup, I knew I wanted all weather mats, I passed on the factory carpet mats. They delivered my HL. I brought my newly purchased weather-tech mats to the dealer and installed them in the new car prep area. I'm so glad I passed on the carpet mats.

I didn't cut the Husky liners for my '11 HL because on my wife's Corolla, my foot would catch the gas lever and I would wonder how why the lid was open. It is no problem at all to reach down to work the lever when you need if you leave it covered by the mat. Looks better too.

On my 4Runner, the Husky mats worked for 15 years before my gas pedal heel wore through the mat. When I contacted Husky, they sent me a new set! I don't know what the warrenty is now but they won my loyalty. I have other stories on why I like them but I will just say "Great Product!"
