Chrome Exhaust Tip

Guys/Gals,

Have any of you purchased the OEM chrome exhaust tip for your HL?

I really like the look and am wondering....
A) if it sticks out far enough to be fairly visible
B) how easy it is to install for someone who has NO experience 'fiddling' with cars

Anyone?

TIA

I'd have gotten one had the pipe tip points straight out, instead it curves/bent down just like on the RAV4 which when you install the chrome tip, it looks so aftermarket, IMO.

I am also interested in getting one. I saw couple of HLs with it and it is clearly visible. It doesn't require any drilling as far as I know so you just screw it on.

Here is an after market one but if you look at the pictures you can clearly see the difference.

It is hard to understand why they wouldn't include this standard with the limited version at least. My 05 Solara SE, which is the lowest trim, had it standard.

Very easy to do, it's visible but doesn't stick out. A nice finishing touch.

I sell them and Genuine OEM parts to TN members for 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus $2.00 for materials, etc.

Thanks for posting these pics! Looks fantastic and I agree that it should be offered standard on some models.

Here is a picture of a TN members HL with the Toyota exhause tip installed. I purchased one just like this in January but haven't had a chance to install yet, the garage is way too cold to be laying on the floor.

Here's my dual tip, which looks great, but is terrible quality stainless. I get massive rust spots during the winter with salts on the road....I have to use an SOS pad every other week.

Looks cool! So, probably a stupid question, but did your model year HL come with dual exhaust standard that you then put the chrome tips on?
