OEM All Weather Cargo Liner vs. Weathertech Liner

Guys/Gals,

I know most rave about the Weathertech products. I'm considering a cargo liner and like the look of the OEM Rubber All Weather liner with the Highlander logo on it.

Do any of you have it? Wondering how it compares to the Weathertech brand.

Price diff is around $40 or so (WT costs more).

I really don't plan on hauling any dogs around....just the usual groceries and who knows what else....sometimes plants, etc.

Wondering which would be better long-term.

TIA

I also did husky liners. Some times I haul old car parts, the grease ,oil and dirt clean up easily and things seem to stay where you put them. 08 base 2 wd .

Replaced after two years of the origional carpet mats when drivers got a hole in it. My wife now has the Weathertech for all three seat areas.
I think the Weathertech stink. The edges never form right to the area that they are in. I wish Rugged Ridge made the ones in my Jeep for hers.

I purchased a Husky cargo liner for my 2010 Highlander. It cost $83 from Autoanything.com., and I'm very happy with it. It's very light weight, fits perfectly, and seems to be very tough. The gray color is an excellent match for my gray interior Highlander.

How about a Dodge cargo liner? It's affordable and it can protect your car from any stains and spills better than other cargo liners, as long as it is firmly in place. And in case you're going to transport stuff other than the usual groceries, a Dodge cargo liner can stand it as it is made to last.

I got weathertech front/rear but I do not have 3rd row so weathertech did not make a cargo liner for me. I had to get an off brand where I had to trim it myself. No crazy about it but it works and it was cheap at 40 bucks. Still a major disappointment when comparing quality to the front/rear weathertech.

I'm debating between the OEM and Weathertech liners for my 2012 Limited. Description on the OEM liner is poor, but based on the one (very small) picture I've seen, is this a two-piece liner that works with the third row up and down? If so, how does that work out? I like the idea of having a liner in even when the third row is up, in case we have snow-caked stroller wheels.

If the OEM liners don't provide any benefit with the third row up, then my tendency is to go with the Weathertech liner. Seems like people generally like them very much.

I got the 2011 OEM one last year for my 08 highlander
yes the OEM one is in 2 pieces, it splits right where the 3rd row splits from the back cargo area. you can use both parts with the 3rd row down, and the back part only when the 3rd row is up. I have never used/seen the weathertech all weather cargo mats, but the OEM mat is very similar to my weathertech all weather floor mats I have (in respect to design/material).

that line above the "highlander" emblem is that split you were talking about. I have nothing to complain about with the OEM ones.

I got my one piece with the purchase of my vehicle and could swear it was OEM. Perhaps it is made by weathertech, although it has "highlander" embossed rather than "weathertech". What I like about it is the nice high lip to hold water spills etc. For example, when we leave a hill after skiing, our skiis go in the back and the snow that melts from the bindings is caught by the liner. Not sure the 2 piece would provide the same protection from spills. When I get home a quick toweling off and its all clean. That said, if you use 3rd row allot, the large one piece may not be right for you...you may be better off with the 2 piece.

I have the Weathertech one. The salesperson said the carpet version was weather proof and all that stuff. Thankfully I didn't listen to him otherwise I'd still be cleaning garlic dressing (from last year's Christmas trip to the outlaws/inlaws) off the carpet.

The fit is good, no complaints from me. If there's any minor con it's that it covers up the bottom seat pull (see sweeneyp's photo) down a little. But this is such a minor con.

Get the Weathertech one. I bought mine from them with free shipping. The other jokers had a cheaper price but made it up in shipping fees so it worked out being the same price.
