Navigation Problem and Calendar Problem

Just bought a used 2008 Highland Limited Hybrid. I'm loving it but I have one minor and one major irritation. On the minor side, my calendar is stuck on December 30, 2000. All options are greyed out. On the major side, despite having upgraded to a 9.1 version of the Nav software (from 7.1) i'm still routinely getting out of sync with the roads and the nav gets all kinds of wonky (traveling "off-road" routinely). Any solutions or thoughts?

As far as the road hoping, I am afraid that you are just like the rest of us and stuck with the POS crappy Nanny Nav that sucks and can be beat by a $100 Garmin. So much for a $4000 POS option.

Now the calendar I am not sure about. I don't think I ever used it. I guess I would have if it would sync to an Iphone but Apple has to be unique.

The 10.1 software is available: Navigation DVD Generation 5 v10.1 but it will not help you much with the accuracy of the GPS and it poor route selection capability.

Also, as far as your clock problem on your other thread, just to prove what a peice of crap the Nanny Nav is, it does NOT get the clock automatically from the GPS sat signal like any $100 Garmin does. Instead you have to manually set the clock in two places. First, you have to set the clock on the Multi Function display using the button on the steering wheel. Once that is done you also have to set Daylight savings time either on or off in the setup of the Nav itself. Otherwise, your arrival times will be an hour off. Like I said, truely a POS.

It saddens me to know this is a universal problem. I set my car at my house earlier today, drove to the end of the road and by the time i was out of my neighborhood, it was already in the grass. I've got an 07 prius that doesn't have these problems. There has got to be a way to move the antennae or something. I can't believe it is the norm that it is this bad. I'm going to have to buy a lock pick just to callibrate the location when we are going to a destination. I also didn't have this problem in the 06 Lexus GX I had. Same nav. There has got to be something else we can do.
