Does anyone know if I can install a 2010 OEM navigation system in my 2008 Highlander?

Why would you want to put such an expensive POS in your truck? For $100, you can get a garmin or TomTom that is 1000x better than the Nanny Nav.

But to answer your question, the 2008 and 2010 both use the Gen5 unit. But you may not have the harnesses in there and might need a computer flash.

I encourage you to look for ANY aftermarket one instead.

You're right.

The only reason is because someone was offering me an OEM gps unit for about half the cost. I would be crazy to spend $3000 or even around half considering all the AM alternatives. Currently there's no deal but I would find it difficult to believe anyone would be willing to pay much more than 500 bucks for a 'used' OEM Nav system. The market for buyers must be virtually non-existant esp. in Canada.
