Believe it or not, this is a Lexus LX....
Supercharged - 600bhp

All I want is some suspension upgrade for our highlander....

Whoa, that looks like a bad ass. Never would guess that was a Lexus.

Not true, if someone really wanting to boost performance they could contact TRD in Australia and have a Toyota Aurion 3.5 2GR-FE Supercharger sent over.

Rediculous...I don't think that word is usable when it comes to H.P.

yea, the supercharger over there... but i mean within US. The HL just doesnt get as much performance items as the 4runner, FJ cruiser etc.

If I made performance parts it wouldn't be for the Highlander either.

B&I makes some rear HIGHLANDER inserts that freshen up the rear. They can either go in stock or painted to match the color of the car.

K&N panel air filter, though the cold air/short ram intakes from the 3.5 Camry might fit as well.

LED lights to replace rear bumper plastic reflectors

etc, etc. Nothing major but enough to make it unique.

If you do mods, do it for you because your car is still worth book value if trading it, selling it or heaven forbid, totalling it. Mod's are probably the worst investment you can make though it did not stop me from doing some.

yea. HL just didnt get the cut. somehow it's too family oriented out of the lineup. haha.

I agree with JMSinMD though, besides performance mod some basic touch up would make it unique.

things I have done so far:
-aftermarket HU + 12" sub
-blacked out all chrome and grill
-bi-xenon (waiting on projector set, will post pics after install)
-LED interior lights
-side step
-k+n drop in

now i just need another set of wheels .....

Here in Australia Ford released a performance version of the Ford Territory (thier Kluger equivalent here in Australia). It didn't sell too well.

http://www.mynrma.com.au/motoring/re...-road-test.htm

Just about every other Toyota model here in Australia has performance upgrades except the Kluger.
