08 HL liftgate pistons

Has any 08 HL owners had to replace the liftgate pistons?
Mine seem to operate slower and slower every day.
I know cold weather has an effect but they seem to work slowly now even on warmer days.

Mine are still working fine, but they definitly don't work well in the cold. This past winter i wasn't looking and walked straight into the tailgate, when they failed to open it completly. Needless to say i felt like a fool Anyway I'm pretty sure mine are the originals, I've have had them last on other vehicles I've owned much longer than 5-6 years so I can't imagine them going bad this soon.
