2008 Transmission fluid change... maybe I missed it?

I have a 2008 Highlander with 60,000 miles on it. When I got the oil changed at Jiffy Lube, the guy said the transmission fluid change is due. I was like "what? It's rated for 100,000 miles and if i need that done I will do it at Toyota". I have read online that it is a "WS" fluid needing no change until 100,000 miles and some people saying 150,000 miles. I would like to do this as few times as possible for obvious reasons. What are the guidelines for this as i have heard and read 60000 to 150,000 miles.

You know I've actually asked at two different dealerships if, since I intended to keep my '08 for about another 8 years, I should have the coolant and transmission fluid changed at 50,000. On all four occasions both dealership service managers and mechanics told me no. One said it could be done if I constantly traveled such short distances that the car barely warmed up. Passing up this change to make some cash impressed me as to the validity of doing it at the recommended 100,00. At least that's my current theory.

Well lets put it this way. it wont hurt it if you change it, and if thats what you want to do then do it. Im about at 50k on mine, and plan to do mine regardless of what Toyota recommends.

It takes about a gallon for a drain/refill, which is a partial change.

I drain/refill every year. I have been using Valvoline Maxlife and Amalie Synthetic ATF.

There is no ATF that is 100k capable. Don't fall for Toyota's marketing shenanigans of lowering the cost of ownership by eliminating needed maintenance.

A)If you care about your vehicle you shouldn't take it to Jiffy Lube

B)If you tow, go with a 30k fluid change interval, if you don't go with a 45k fluid change interval.

My Sequoia recommends 100k interval but once you change at 100k it recommends every 50k. If the fluid is the same why does the interval change? I think these high intervals are used to sell people on the idea of cheap overall maintenance and aren't realistic.
