New 2011 Highlander Limited Navigation Favorite Destinations

I just bought a new 2011 Highlander Limited with navigation and was somewhat surprised to find that you can only store 5 destinations as opposed to hundreds with a Garmin. Surely I am missing a feature somewhere.

There are 5 quick select destination that you can select when you hit the dest button, but it can store hundreds in memory that can be sorted different ways. When the Map is on the display use the Setup button below the display and then you can add POI into memory. You can group them and sort them by name and date.

What annoys me is that the 10.1 software POI search SUCKS compared to prior versions. It gives me POI hundreds of miles away and cannot find one that I am parked in front of! Yes, my region is set up correctly.
