Rosen Nav/Rear Door speakers

Searched thru all the Rosen threads and found nothing on the problem I'm having. I installed the Rosen Nav a few months ago and everything works except when playing a CD, the rear door speakers do not work. When playing the radio all the speakers work, including the rear door speakers. Did I miss something when installing the Rosen system that addresses audio to the rear speakers when playing a CD? Looked thru the manual and found nothing and I sent an email to Rosen customer service and got no reply, which I suspected I wouldn't. This was installed in a 2010 HL SE (nonJBL).

I'll take a guess.
You probably hooked up the power antenna turn-on wire instead of the amp turn-on wire.
Then when you switch to CD the head unit turns off the power antenna which turns off the amp for the back speakers.
Toyota likes to power the rear speakers off a separate amp.
I don't know the Rosen wire colors but units like kenwood use blue/white for amp turn-on and blue for power antenna.

Not sure this is it. I don't have an external amp, only the one in the Rosen head unit and the Rosen is plug and play with only two connectors utilized, the main one and the one for the steering wheel controls.
Thanks for the reply.

I had a Rosen unit in my prior 2008 Highlander, I can't find the old manual but I do remember if you put in a DVD there are sound menus for different playback, surround, 5 channel, stereo, etc... not sure if that's your problem but it's worth a try. I do remember that the DVD settings menu was pretty complex.
