Power Outlet and/or Aux in Armrest?

Just picked up our '11 Highlander SE yesterday morning and there is one feature that I love in our other car that Toyota didn't quite pick up on: A power outlet (cigarette lighter) and aux input in the armrest instead of up by the dash.

I love this idea because it hides the mess of cables, etc. away in the armrest so nicely.

Has anyone looked into adding a power outlet (more important than the aux input) to the armrest?

adding a power outlet would be fairly easy, just tap into the cigarette lighter power lines next to the armrest. Its pretty easy to take apart teh center console, and when you do that you can drill a hole in the front of the arm rest container pretty easily. Now an aux input would be more difficult. You could use the stock toyota one and just extend the wires so that it would reach teh container, but the stock aux port uses 5 wires which would make that difficult. If you don't use all 5 wires the auxiliary port wont be recognized by the radio. Some1 on this forum has done a overhaul on the radio and ran a usb port into the container for an ipod so things like this have been done before. Here's that thread (DIY Radio and Subwoofer Install in 2009 Toyota Highlander)
Is this kinda what you are talking about?
