Lost instructions for 2011 OEM hitch

I bought the 2011 Toyota hitch a couple months back and figured I'd install it when the temp warmed up. Now that I want to install it tonight, I can't remember where I put the instructions. I searched the whole dang house and zippo. Argh!

Could someone please send me a pdf of the instructions for the hitch and wiring harness for the 2011 Toyota hitch?

It's different from the one that fits 2008 - 2010 (which I have).

Do you have a pdf reader like Adobe? You could try using a different browser too. Google Chrome is a good one.

I am very familiar with PDF files and open them all the time. I am using Google chrome. The links simply don't work for me. They don't take me to the PDF file; They take me to your hosting company's home page. Does the link as posted work when you click it from within this website?

Oh well, don't have the hitch kit yet but will in the future and wanted to review the instructions beforehand. Guess I'll have to wait 'till when I buy it.

EDIT: Nevermind........I think the website must have been down for a few minutes or was having problems earlier. I was able to access both pages just now. Thanks.

Yes, sometimes their server goes down and you just have to wait a few minutes or hours for them to fix it. It can be a hassle sometimes, but, hey, it's free.

Might try our own forum resources.
The 2008 OEM hitch instructions are posted in the ***READ FIRST*** DIY:Modifications section

***READ FIRST*** DIY: Maintenance and Modifications

Unless things have changed since 2008 you need the wire harness kit as well and if you are towing something that needs a 7 wire plug you are screwed as the HL only provides a 4 wire connection (at least in 2008)

Also getting the new fascia on is harder that installing the hitch

Getting all of the "Tab A's" into "Slot B's" is a bit frustating.
