Possible to swap leather steering wheel for urethane?

I'm thinking of getting a new 2011 HL, frankly I don't want the leather seats that come in the SE/Limited but I really do like the leather steering wheel. I saw that you can buy the leather steering wheel for about $500 at online parts stores, does anyone know how hard it is to swap it out for the urethane wheel? I imagine the airbag and audio controls would remain the same. I haven't been able to find a parts diagram for the steering wheel.

Alternative Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel

Changing the entire steering wheel seems too costly to me in both the expense of the new wheel and the labor/expertise for installation. An alternative to wheel replacement is to have your existing wheel wrapped in leather.

Wheelskins (wheelskins.com) and perhaps other companies have numerous steering wheel covers in various patterns and colors. If you are a DIY'er, you could sew the new cover onto your existing wheel or have an auto trim shop to do it for you. The difference in cost between wheel replacement and having a cover applied would be significant.
