Greetings, haven't been on TN in a very long time. I remember there used to be a how much did you pay for ____ thread years ago. I tried searching and didn't see anything recent.

Anywho, I just purchased a 2011 Highlander SE V6 AWD w/ tow package, convenience package, remote engine start, carpet mats, blu logic hands-free, running board, and wheel locks for $34872 + inspection & tire + DMV fees. Salesman said it's $200 over their invoice.

Here is the last page of that thread for the 2nd Gen Highlander forum. Congratulations on buying the new Highlander! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've been enjoying mine....

Thanks TrailDust. This is my second Highlander, I traded in my 06 Highlander Hybrid Limited ... 133000 miles on it after 5 years and 5 months. One of the cells in the hybrid battery pack was deemed weak by Toyota service advisor and it would have cost around $7K to replace the entire pack! Got $6800 for the trade-in.

Very cool! At this point if I were to get rid of my Highlander for something else down the road, it would either be a 3rd Gen Highlander provided they addressed several of the shortcomings of the 2nd Gen model, or it would be a 4Runner Trail edition. I'll have to see how that shakes out, but I'll certainly be keeping my present Highlander for another three years or so.

How much would the trade-in value be had it not been for that weak cell?

Kelley Blue Book put it at around $14K for a dealer trade-in ... so I was happy.
