Question MFD when engine off?

Hey Everyone, I just traded in my '08 Highlander Base for a '11 SE and I have a question about the MFD. I have done a search online and have checked the manual but I'm still missing it When you turn off the engine you can still use the radio but the MFD goes off. Is there any way to be able to see the time other than to turn the key? I apologize if this is already on another thread, if it is can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for all your help!

HAH! I'm relieved that I am not the only one with this problem... albeit a minor one. I was so used to being able to sit in my '01 HL and listen to the radio while waiting for my appointment. The first thing I noticed when I got the '11 SE was no clock when the key was in the ACC position. I had to keep rolling up my coat sleeve to get at my watch. I know it sounds minor but after 10 years of having a working clock on the dash I too would be interested in knowing if there is a way to see the clock with the ignition in the ACC position.

In my opinion the HL misses the mark on quite a few minor items that would otherwise improve the ownership experience. One that bugs me is not being able to roll the windows up and down from the driver's exterior door lock.
