Canada 2011 4cyl Highlander Tonneau cover

Hello,

I'm a newbie here so please excuse me if this post is duplicated or has too many questions.

I've recently purcahsed a 2011 Highlander (4 cyl 2wd). I am looking for a tonneau cover/cargo cover. I found some for sale online but they all say that it is for a Highlander that has a factory installed rear power door. My HL does not have a rear power door. Would this tonneau cover still fit? If not, can it be modified in any way to make it fit? What is the difference b/w the two? Are there any other models tonneau covers that would fit the 2011 HL? Where can I buy a tonneau cover that will fit my HL.

Thanks and appreciate any responses.

I'm pretty sure they only have one type of tonneau cover. Only reason i'd think they'd list it as w/ power rear door is because it comes standard on the V6 models which have the power rear door.

As listed in the 08 brochure (still same cargo panels), the Hybrid w/o power rear hatch comes with a tonneau cover so that'll fit too.

And if you don't know already, theres a place made to store the tonneau cover when not in use though i'd assume you'd use the tonneau cover the whole time.

There are two sizes for covers in the Highlander, with and without rear power tailgate.

While the main mount is the same in the vehicle (the static point), the handle end of the roller (that you pull open/close) is smaller on the power tailgate (because of the motor being at the driver side, bumping out thus making the opening smaller...

I know this, because I got my highlander used from carmax (09 hybrid limited with power rear door), it was missing rear cover and I said I wanted one. They grabbed one from a standard (non power tailgate) highlander, and while it will mount, it can't close because the interior is different with the power liftgate...

Where did you find the ones for the power liftgate? how much?

Mine is a grey, non-power lift gate and frankly I've never used the tonneau cover since I bought my '08. If grey is your color let me know.

@jaycer: Thanks for the info... makes sense now. I found a website (toyotapartsstore.com) that sells it for $159.25 Part #: PT731-48110.. (not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to the page).

@PhotonDreams: If you're positive about parting with your cover, then I wouldn't mind buying it off of you. Doubt if there's any difference between a '08 a and '11 model. Let me try the cover that my dealer has and then I'll get back to you. Thanks for the offer.
