They're all going to point down to a certain degree. Mine are not TRD but they have a slight incline even though the top of the tip is only 1/4" away from the bottom of the rear facia. No way around it unless you trim the rear facia, something I was not willing to do.

supposedly my car had one and it was lost due to a bad clamp, so toyota slap on a new tip for me for free under a recall

@jack63: It looks like you have a different rear bumper altogether (different than my '08 hihy). If so, where did you get it, how much?

Thank G-d I bought mine in 2009 because if I waited and mine looked like that I would A)have bought something else or B)had it repainted to match the rest of the vehicle. It looks cheap, the same when the 4Runner came out with black fender flares. Keep the color mismatching for base models
