i would like to get some hid for my fiance 08 highlander. im just a little confuse. so i went on osram slylvani for the bulb size and it came out to be high and low headlamp is 9003/hb2 and it say When two or more lamps are listed for the same application, remove the lamp and check the numerical designation.... on the other forum a lot of people tell me to buy my kit on www.ddmtuning.com but im a little confuse because it say h4/HB2/9003 or h4/HB2/9003 hi/lo +20.00... which one am i suppose to get? if i get the +20 does it mean it come with two set for low/high? i just wanna make sure. thanks a lot in advance.

You need to give the forums more time. 40 views is only a fraction of Highlander owners, and not all of them are into HIDs...give it time. Also, shoot me a PM if you'd like more instructions on how to use the forums search feature.

The bulb you want is an H4 Hi/Lo kit. 9003/HB2/H4 are all the same thing. I got my all 3 sets of my HID's for my highlander from DDMtuning. If you get the H4 (only low beam) bulb it will have a metal sheild on it and you will loose all hi beam functionality. The hi/lo is going to have a more advance metal shield and an electromagnet base that will bull the bulb back and give you high beam. Any kit you order will come with 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts, and necessary wiring. getting a hi/lo kit will give u two hi/lo bulbs, ballasts, and wires. DDMtuning is real cheap (always a good thing ) and I've never had a problem with their parts in any of my 3 kits.
Also, make sure you aim your lights after getting HID's. The factory aiming was WAY high on my highlander and just putting HID's in put the light straight into car mirrors. Just reply if you don't know how to aim and I can help ya there.
Let me know if you have any more questions on what kit to get or install, I've done a lot of work with HID's so I should be able to help.
Good luck!
Patrick
