Canada Nav replacment questions

Hello All,

I have an '09 Hybrid LTD. I am a bit of a geek with my toys so I am working on changing out the Nav system. Basically the Toyota Nav system is a bit light on options and accessory controls for me. I am going to a Kenwood DNX-9980HD with a replacement for the stock rear seat DVD player.

Ok, so my '09 came with the Navigation system which means that the switches below the nav display are different from those which are installed on a Sport or Standard. Those vehicles without the Nav system have wide buttons with a swooping pattern. There are photos of it on another post but I cant find it again... anyway. All of the face plates which are available for an '09 have the lower switch design, designed around those switches not the smaller ones which I have on my car. (the switches I am referring to are the security/hazard light switch/SRS airbag)....

There are no other face plate designers so that is not an option, my only option is to source the hazard light switch assembly from somewhere. My dealer seems to think that the only way for me to get it from Toyota is to order the old school radio, assembly and all of its subsequent components.

Does anyone know how or where I can get this part, maybe the part number or simply suggestions.... please.

Thks

I think it is the "Integration Control and Panel Assembly" as in a schematic it looks separate.

I would consider looking at a scrap dealer.. There must be wrecked HL'ers from which you could get the parts you need.

Thanks for the post... I have the part number and stuff and the install guy has sourced the part from a wrecker so all is good.
