2011 highlander xm radio not working. HELP!

Hi! I'm new here and this is my first post. I have the new Highlander Limited and is great. I ordered the XM tuner and the Fit kit and had the installation done by the car dealer and it did not work. The dealer ordered another tuner and fit kit and installed it again and it did not work either. They said they have gone through all the troubleshooting around this and nothing so far. The radio displays keeps on giving the same message: "check antenna". And of course, I already have a paid subscription for that ca radio with XM.
The dealer says the system is complete, from the head unit (came from factory), tuner, fit kit and antenna (the also came factory fitted), so if nothing is missing, then what's wrong? This has been very frustrating as I enjoy satellite radio a lot (I already have another car with Sirius).

Thanks in advance for your help.

I installed XM in my wife's 08 Highlander a few years ago. Had the same issue.
The XM receiver is mounted underneath the drivers seat. I coiled up the slack antenna cable that plugs into that box under the carpet. When I bolted the seat back in, the cable must have moved and broke the antenna cable in two. Bought a new antenna and has worked since.
I would inspect the antenna cable from the reciever to the antenna for any breaks.
