USA What's your off-road, beach, experience with 4x4 Highlander?

I live in North Carolina, like to surf fish on the Outerbanks. Its very sandy. If you have driven your 2008-2011 Highlander on sanding beaches, I would appreciate your post on its performance/ability getting through the deep sand.

Hello, and welcome to Toyota Nation!

A great place for you to start is in the Common Problems, Solutions, And Questions For New Owners sticky thread, and under the Commonly asked questions about the Highlander and its systems sub-section check out the various threads linked there that discuss beach and off-road use (located in the last link). You should find them interesting.

Edit: Here are a couple of links to recent threads about beach use as well:

Stuck in the sand today. Anything to do other than turning off VSC/Traction Control?

Cool! Feel free to post up to any of those threads if you have questions about beach/off-road use, as doing that helps keep all the information in just a few threads for future reference by members.
