Window regulator

Has anyone replaced the window regulator on their highlander? Do you have to place the motor on any certain tooth when you screw it back on?

Which model year of Highlander are you asking about, and also which trim line because sometimes that matters too?

Excellent! I'll move your thread to the 2nd Gen Highlander forum so the members can answer your question.

I would expect it does matter. The limit switches are likely tied to the rotation of the gear drive. Just a guess on my part though.
If.. you can find no technical advice.. I would try to run the motor without being engaged. See where (if) it stops up and down and use that position to determine the correct engagement of the gear.
