Safety Recall B0E

Anyone get a Toyota Letter on this recall yet? it is over three months since they posted the "stay tuned" bulletin. My Toyota on my 08 says they are still working on a solution.

Another Recall...

Dang that is close. I'm actually in Brentwood/Franklin area, just put Nashville due to laziness haha. Nice to see someone else from here.

Weird, I just had my car at the dealer and they supposedly performed an airbag sensor recall. Now I have to check the receipt(never care to look at it) to see what was actually done. Recall after recall....

my air bag light has been on for the past year. at first, it bugged me a lot, but then after a while,,,, even though it's still on, i've trained my eyes to ignore it.

i would like to get the issue fixed. that's for sure.

I took my 08 highlander to the dealer when the light first came on. I was quoted about $700 to fix it. They said it was the "main airbag brain" that was going bad.
I opted out and decided not to get it fixed.
Fast forward a few months,,,,now there is an airbag recall. I called the dealer again, and they did say there is no fix for the problem as of yet. So, if you take your vehicle in, count on it not getting fixed. They want to pull codes and make sure it's the same issue.
I was going to take my vehicle in again, but now gonna wait til they have an actual fix first.
What a wasted of my time!!!!

lawl...I bought mine right when the whole recall thing started to settle down (you know...just wanted to make sure Toyota was going to pull through all the negative press, and hoping the recalls would lead to better bargaining lol)

to this day I have yet to receive one damn recall letter! I almost want to get a few just to make sure I haven't been forgotten about lol
