Hi, I just leased a 2011 Toyota Highlander yesterday. No nav, but is JBL. I paired the Droid 2 phone with the car bluetooth no problem. I am having 2 issues and I hope you can help me.
1) When I recieve a call, my music stops and it shows up on the radio screen but does not ring through the car speakers only the phone. Please help with that.
2) When I try to add my phonebook, I can only add one entry at a time from my phone. How could I add the entire phonebook rather than 1 at a time.
1) My guess is that the volume of the vehicle's ringer is too low. A simple way to solve this is to adjust the volume using the steering wheel controls when you have an incoming call. There could be another way, I'm just not sure of it.
2) I don't believe there is any way to sync your entire phonebook instantly with the Highlander. I'm almost positive that the only way to accomplish that is if you have navigation.

Thank you very much
Well for number 2 I can definitely help with. Its normal and a definite pain in the @$$ to just be able to add the 1 at a time.
Number 1, only thing I can think of is maybe the volume on the radio ringer is down. When the call comes up on my screen there is a volume control at the bottom of the screen. And you can completely mute the ringer. I know that's probably way to simple to be the problem, but its the only thing I can think of....or it may be in the menu settings. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see what I can find when I get back into the car.
Good Luck,
Patrick

Ok i found the ringer volume control. If you hit info below the screen, then telephone, then in the bottom left there is a settings button. Hit that and you can control the volume of the ringer. It is probably just turned down.

kmercatili..Welcome To the Forums. Since you do not have Nav there is no screen for you to look at. Ringer volume is controlled from the steering wheel button on the left side.I'm not aware of the radio volume having anything to do with the phone's voice or ringer volume. It is all done from the steering wheel controls on the left side. You will see a speaker Icon on the button.
Adding contacts..Phewy. It's one at a time. I don't bother.

You are correct..I edited my original post. I must have been thinking of my Audi using the radio volume knob.

Also, you might try making sure you've used the Phone setup to "Pair Phone" rather than the Bluetooth Audio Setup to "Pair Audio Player". Toyota's pairing system, phonebook import system and voice control menus are awful compared to some other makes:-(
