Noise while heavy braking with 2010

I have a noise coming from the left side suspension/brake when coming to a stop under heavy braking. I can feel it vibrate a little on the steering wheels too. The dealer heard the noise but they haven't been able to find it. They also test another 2010 and have the same noise but less severe. Did anyone else know what might cause this?? 2010 base model - only come from the left side under heavy braking and right before the car come to a complete stop. They think it might be the pad shifting but they not sure

thanks
Huy

2010 Break Noise

How many miles do you have on those brakes?

It almost sounds like your rotors may be too thin if you get a steering wheel vibration when the brakes are applied.

Has the dealer measured them?

When does the steering wheel vibration start? Right before the car stops or as soon as the heavy braking starts? Does the noise start at the same time? How many miles are on it? Do you tow with it?

My first guess is warped rotors.

No towing. The pads are good...14K miles on the car. The steering doesnt vibrate nor shake like bad rotor. Just a thump noise when it almost completely stop. I always have this problem but recently it bother me more than before. Light breaking cant hear/feel it. It is mostly noise...very mile thump on the steering. It feels like the brake is loose or the suspension is loose but the tech check everything but cant find anything. This might be related to 2010 only..It definitely coming from the left front side of the car. At first i thought it was my HID ballasts but i dont think so..pretty loud thud...sometime it feel as if the thump is from the car downshifting too fast but it cant be. It shift really smooth....

Try putting it in neutral and then stopping hard. That would eliminate the transmission.

This could be many different things. Don't rule out the noise coming from somewhere other than where it initially sounds like it's coming from. Maybe reproduce it with someone standing outside the car to confirm.
