Protective panels missing?

I just looked under my 2011 SE as I'm about to install a Curt hitch and they aren't there. Did they eliminate those on the 2011 or did the dealer or factory lose or forget them?

Edit/Update: Called the dealer--Service couldn't tell me anything, parts couldn't find them on their diagrams. My sales guy didn't know but ran out to the lot and looked under several 4 cyls.--none to be found. The 6 cyl. have them though. Weird--they don't come on 4 cyls.? I appreciate him having the motivation to check units on the lot for me.

I guess the good news is that not having the panels shaved 10 minutes off the 30 minute instal time for you! I installed a hitch on my 2 previous XC90s and it was a snap. The Curt hitch directions look pretty straight forward so you should be in good shape. GOOD LUCK!

My 2011 Limited has the panels. I just ordered the OEM hitch today & looking forward to bolting it up this weekend.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll report how it goes.
