Is this typical?
2011 Highlander V6 AWD Ltd, bought in March.
Went in for the 5,000.00, they noticed a very very small oil leak in the back of the engine.
In the shop at a later time for diagnosis, they removed the entire engine, they said the leak does appear to be from the engine block but at this point, Toyota has asked that they stop, take pictures and submit them to the region (manager?) and wait to hear back from them or their rep before beginning any repairs. Dealership said they are probably going to send someone to inspect the Highlander and so now we are waiting to hear from someone at Toyota. 
Driving around in the RAV4 is just not the same.
