Headrest

Hello everyone....need some help/input here. I just recently purchased a '08 Highlander. The only thing wrong with it is that it has an ugly crease in one of the rear headrest. I assume it came from there being a car seat installed there, but am wondering if anyone has any input on how to get rid of it. At this point, I'm assuming the only way to fix it is by purchasing a new headrest to replace it.

Here are pics:

Wow, heck of a dent. Looks like the car seat was there for three years. I've never dealt with that particular problem. You might try applying steam heat and hope the fabric and foam underneath will relax and return to their original size. My other thought is that since the '08 have been out for three years they are turning up in junk yards by now. If you go to the central data base of junk yards for North America and post one of those pix's, a whole bunch of yards will send you offers at pretty good price ranges. My brother needed a tail light for his VW, new it was $135, junk yards ran $25 to $65 delivered. Some were even up in Canada. Good luck.

Try putting a towel over it and take an iron to it on the "high steam" setting.

Thanks for the input! I finally got some time today to try the steam/iron and towel trick. Looks like it has helped a bit, however the crease is still bad enough to warrant me to look for a replacement. I will try this a couple more times over the next few days to see if that helps anymore.
