There seems to be a lot of talk about this all of the sudden.
Here is another thread on it:
Is your electric steering loud?

Its normal, your just hearing the electric motor.

A lot of times the clicking sound can be traced to the airbag cable reel

Had the same problem, clicking or popping in the steering wheel at low speed turns. Usually when I pulled into a parking spot or turned a corner at low speed. Had the dealer take a look at it and they said it was my "steering shaft assembly" or something like that.

Glad I bought the extended warranty, I just hit 64k miles on my 2008 Limited and have had my passenger side airbag sensor fail, my main computer needed replaced, and the driver door and passenger rear door locking mechanisms broke. I'd take it in and have them check it if I were you.

Wow.....

We are literally at identical mileage and unfortunately I did not get the extended warranty (after having older Toyota's in the past, I was banking on the brand being the warranty). Luckily I have not had any problems at all (save 1 or 2 little things). Either I'm just lucky or you got a lemon because I can't believe that many things have gone wrong already on yours.
Good thing you got the warranty

I've heard the same thing on my 2011 Limited model. I figured it was related to the electric steering so I'm glad to have some confirmation.
