It is not the firewall. The opening is to the left wheel well. Just follow the hood release cable and you'll see where it goes into the wheel well. Take a look at this posting, second picture. It shows the hood cable release from the wheel well perspective.

It's been a while now, but when I ran a power cable for my subwoofer, I believe I entered via firewall in the passenger compartment footwell. There is a run of wires going through a grommet in the firewall....I just shoved the wire through. Took a bit of patience, but if I recall, wasn't that hard. You just have to remove the panel under the dash by removing a few retainer clips to be able to access it. Note that this will require more wire since you have to go to passenger side, then back since the battery is on the driver side.

In the passenger foot-well (after removing the black AC cover that hides everything down there) there is a rubber grommet that runs through the firewall. There is a 3/4" band of wires going through it. Below the bundle (about 1cm, still part of the same rubber grommet) there is a plug looking thing. It is actually another hole to run wires. If you cut this plug off using a razor blade or scissors there will be a hole into the engine bay you can run power lines through. I ran my 2 8-guage power lines for the amps through this hole.
It goes straight into the engine bay. Its easiest if you stick a cloths hanger through (working from inside the car INTO the engine bay, taping the wires to 1 end) and pushing it till you see it in the engine bay, as the grommet can be difficult to get your arm to inside the engine bay.
This is what Luck123 is talking about as I used his thread to find this hole through the firewall

Thank you sweeneyp and luck123, this very useful information, but the engine bay is very deep and overcrowded, it is difficult to me. I finally decided to install a remote foglight. I remember the remote foglight sold in walmart, so I don't have to wiring through firewall. any advice please.

So your talking about a wireless/remote relay kit. I didn't know walmart sold wireless kits, I've never seen them. Are you asking for wiring advice, I'm kinda confused now? Do you have a link to the kit you found?
