Question Bluetooth iPhone Audio Streaming on 2012 SE

Hi All,

I'm the proud new owner a 2012 Toyota Highlander SE. I've gotten my iPhone paired for both phone and audio streaming without a problem. When I'm streaming audio however, I don't see the names of the songs on my radio screen, and I also can use the "folder' button to move between playlists (this is w/out nav). Everything else seems to work (I can pause/play, skip to the next song, it pausing when a call comes in, etc.).. i just can seem to navigate my playlists at all. Anyone have any experience with this?

thx!

The reason the artist/song title, etc., are not displayed is because the current iPhone software doesn't send out the metadata. However, when Apple releases the new iOS 5 software, the song metadata will be sent out and displayed on the head unit.

FYI - I updated my iPhone to iOS5; the song title is now appearing in the display when streaming via bluetooth.

This is also true for Android phones using Doubletwist as the audio player.
