Drl

Hi-

My DRL '11 Limited 2K miles doesn't work but all my other headlight selections and settings do work. Has anyone heard of why DRL will not turn on? I'm taking it to my dealership soon but curious if anyone on this forum has heard of such a problem.

THanks.

I also have a 2011 Limited and noticed on the headlight stalk a seperate setting to turn the DL's on and off. I would check it to make sure it's set to on. Hope this helps !

Yes the switch is on drl/off. Also my dealer checked the customization settings and the"daytime running light system" is set to yes. My dealer told me to bring it back and they will have to work with headquarters to determine the problem.

Now I'm confused. Your first post states the DRL won't come on. But in this last post, you note that you've manually turned the DRLs off.

If you have it set to DRL off, then all lights (including the DRL) should stay off at all times. If you set the switch to Auto on the stalk, then the DRL will be on at all times unless it gets dark enough and it switches over to headlights automatically. In the Auto setting, you will basically have lights on at all times (either DRL or headlights).

well he said that all the lights work just the drl feature doesnt work so that means that the bulb is working. maybe the sensor of for the drls is not correctly working. the drls dont work at all or do they have the high beam working and not switching over to the full power low beam ?

I had the dealership turn the DRL feature off when I first got the car. Could be they can just turn it on, but it has to be done by the guy with the computer.

Hi DRL.works. It is only activated when the car is put in drive. Apologies for the false alarm.
