Yakima rack without roof rails

Has anyone found Yakima q-clips that fit the 2008-2010 Highlander roofs? This would be for vehicles without the roof rails. The fit guide does not show any clips that fit, but it may be that the roof is similar enough to another vehicle that some clips might work. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dirk

I know this doesn't answer your question but I bought my '12 HL recently without any side rails. I also looked into these clip type rails but couldn't tell if they would really work. In the end, I just bought some side rails on Ebay for $100 and installed them myself. The cross bars are another $100. They're not OEM but they work just as well.

Want more spread

I also have the aftermarket rails. They work great for most things, but I need to put 16-18 ft. canoes on the roof and the max distance between the cross bars is shorter than I like. So I hope to add a clip on bar near the front of the front doors to add a couple of feet to the spread. I have lots of Yakima bars, etc., but they do not make the clips for the Highlander.

Thanks - Dirk
